We are a family owned and a “family grown” business. All the log cabins are make of red pine that were harvested from the very woodland they are nested in. Raymond, his brothers and his father planted the red pine seedlings 55 years ago. Not only did Raymond’s father live long enough to see the trees mature, he also lived long enough to see them harvested and made into a useful product.
The trees were getting too crowded and needed thinning, so enough trees were harvested in 2001 to build the first 3 log cabins. More thinning was done in 2004 and two more cabins were added.
To compliment the cabins, it only seems fitting to offer campsites to visitors who enjoy the outdoors via tents or campers. We have 25 campsites with electric & water and a dump station. 8 of those campsites are large pull through sites for the bigger rigs.
There is a pavilion that makes a great place for family reunions, company picnics, summer wedding receptions, etc.
So if you hear the woods calling you with it’s natural beauty, bountiful wildlife, and peacefulness, we would love to have you as our guest, just give us a call or shoot us an email!
